What is HotelSec?
The HotelSec system is a self learning behavioral analysis system designed to detect internal security threats based on the existing data available from access control systems widely deployed in most organizations.
The generic technology behind the system has been developed at Correlation Systems Ltd. over the past few years, and can now be easily utilized in a variety of fields (see our website for such previous activities).
Our current chosen focus is the hotel market, noting that most hotels have widespread access control systems already installed throughout their buildings.
HotelSec utilizes a range of technologies, including geospatial data mining, artificial intelligence and behavioral analysis, in order to generate real time intelligence from access control and other surveillance data.
The system identifies irregularities in the activity of people within the organization, such as irregular routes taken by guests or employees within the building.
Advanced cognitive self-learning models are implemented, such as identification of patterns and abnormal activities within certain areas, irregularities in routine activity of people in different areas, unobvious connections between seemingly unrelated people (such as employees from different departments who regularly meet during breaks), and much more. Rules may be defined to ensure employee compliance with policy (e.g. verifying employees take mandatory breaks).
