Innovative Solutions in PDVR (Personal Digital Video Recording)

Project "VARUNA" proposed a high-end security system for inner perimeter security. The system is

planned for use as a complementary addition to currently available high-end security systems, which mainly handle outer-perimeter security.

The project was conducted in collaboration with XiD technologies (Singapore) and was partially funded by SIIRD.

The system is based on the combination of real-world face recognition technology and geographic data mining technologies:
