Grid Computing
The vision of Grid computing is to provide a way of sharing the power of a many computers, which
are not necessarily located in the same place. Grid allows users to access and receive massive amounts of data, whether stored in dedicated storage devices or flowing from sensors, and to process this data, using a wide range of resources.
Correlation systems views Grid as an important enabling technology and infrastructure for its geospatial data processing engine – GDM5.
Correlation Systems is invested in Grid research and development within the European community, collaborating with academia and Grid middleware developers to bridge the gap between theory, vision, and application.
